Memories and Impressions

Bahram Erfan remembers and relates his impressions of growing up in the historical city of Isfahan, Iran and coming to the U.S, where he practiced as a physician and raised a family. He was born to a prominent newspaper family in Isfahan who published the eponymous newspaper, Erfan. The book is a charming portrayal of the Iran and Isfahan of eighty years ago and the struggles and triumphs of a young foreign-born doctor in the Washington DC area.
