Tāj al-Saltanah (1883–1936), the daughter of Naser al-Din Shah, was a prominent intellectual and reformist figure in late 19th- and early 20th-century Iran.
In her memoirs, she recounts her upbringing in the royal harem, which shaped her progressive views on societal and gender norms and gave her unique insights into the political workings of the Qajar era.
